Travel Materials??

I work an 11 hour shift as a Home Health Aide... Saturdays and Sundays. It's a pretty good job, and it seems as if it's a long day, but I'm one of those people who like to keep busy. The elderly woman I care for takes occasional naps, and when she does, I like to work on my art journal.

The only problem is, I tend to look like Santa Clause when I come dragging all my materials around with me! The picture above is my dresser... and yes, I use all of this (and more) in my journal... I need to learn to condense!

What do YOU use on the go? Do you need to rent out a travel ROOM to go along with you? :) I think I do...

On another (MUCH more important note...) is a pic of me and two of my children a few weeks back... they are the reason why I do not spend much time on the computer, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My kids are worth everything :) and I love them dearly.

And here is Kyle, acting so cute and pretending he's a frog in his frog towel! Love it when they WANT to pose for pics :)

(I like your priorities.) When I'm out I take a journal I made from a recycled book cover and papers, which has a space in the spine where I stick a pen with a clip. Pencil, eraser and sharpener in my bag too. That's it - anything else waits till I get home. Am I too organised?

I usually take a book with me because my stack would look like that if I tried to carry my crafts! LOL Your kids are so cute!

I carry yarn and a crochet hook in my very roomy purse. That or a small handsewing project, or a half-finished friendship bracelet. I always have some project in my purse.

P.S. Your little ones are cute, and worth every effort, great job Jen.

I bring a book with me and my purse. When I go in the car with Jenifer, we have a grocery bag full of other "stuff" to keep in the car.

Your kids are adorable!! I usually just bring my wallet these days as I have changed over from crafting and making to just plain hunting and buying!

I have a little notebook in my purse to jot down ideas.

Beautiful family you have. You could have a different journal for when you are out and about... Maybe with a minimalist or monotone theme and so wouldn't have to bring so many supplies.
